German language examination for immigrants (DTZ) and orientation course examination
The aim of the integration course is for you to successfully take the final examination. It consists of a language examination and an orientation course examination. The final examination consists of two exams:
In the DTZ language examination you can prove that you have achieved the overall language level A2 or B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If you pass the language examination at level B1 and the "Living in Germany" examination, you have successfully passed the final examination and will receive the "Integration Course Certificate".
In addition, if you take the "Living in Germany" examination, you can also prove that you have the required knowledge of the legal and social order and living conditions in Germany for naturalisation (Section 10 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 7 StAG) if you achieve at least 17 points. The "Integration Course Certificate" offers you many advantages. It certifies sufficient knowledge of German and important basic knowledge of German society. You can also participate in the examinations as a self-payer without entitlement to an integration course. Fees and dates on request.
